Canalside Development

A large amount of our time is dedicated to reviewing and challenging property development schemes. This is because an inappropriate design can cause irreversible damage to canal life. Sometimes the damage is aesthetic, for example where open spaces and green corridors are compromised. Sometimes the damage is functional, for example we have lost countless boatyards and wharves and this is making the canal unviable for the purpose it was designed for.
