Music


Bayswater Brass Quartet play selections of Music Hall songs IN THE ICE WELL - hear the fabulous acoustics of the ice-wells resonate with the sounds of Gatti's Music Halls

Art


Our resident artist creates a spectacular work of art based on the nature and properties of ice. Join in, create, participate and marvel! The work will be recorded in creation and completion - but in the nature of ice, will only last the day. Visitors can be part of the brief moment.

Families


Workshops and fun with ice - the science of the ice molecule - help us build a GIANT ice molecule. Ice cube painting and other cool fun

Live interpretation


Meet Mrs Marshall - the Ice Cream Queen. A near contemporary of Mrs Beeton, Agnes Marshall was an extraordinary cookery school proprietor, cookery demonstrator and writer. The first to write a book exclusively on the making of ice cream and patent holder for a whole batterie of kitchen utensils. See our new, replica Mrs Marshall patent ice cream maker demonstrated by the lady herself. Make and taste ice cream Victorian Style.
