Here are some dates for your diaries.

TED BAKER PUBLIC EXHIBITION, 20TH AND 22ND APRIL

This is another chance to find out what might be happening on the site of the Big Ugly Brown Building on St Pancras Way. This has a long waterfront with opportunities to interact with the canal, but if we do not get involved then it could end up as another shaded precinct.

CELEBRATING CRYSTAL HALE, 23RD APRIL

Islington Boat Club is hosting an open day at City Road Basin to celebrate the achievements of Crystal Hale, who campaigned against plans to close the basin.

"IDLE WOMEN" SHOW, 24TH APRIL ONWARDS

To celebrate the volunteer boatwomen of world War II, Kate Saffin and Heather Wastie will perform in a touring show that starts at Limehouse on 24th April. It moves to the Ragged School Museum on 25th April, the London Canal Museum on 26th April and continues towards Birmingham. More details are available on the Alarum Theatre website.

CAMDEN GOODS YARD CONSULTATION, 25TH AND 26TH APRIL

This is an opportunity to meet council officers to discuss their long-term vision for the area between the Camden locks and the Roundhouse at Chalk Farm.

LITTLE VENICE CANAL FESTIVAL. 29TH APRIL TO 1ST MAY

IWA's annual three-day Canalway Cavalcade starts on Saturday 29th April.

FRIENDS OF REGENT'S CANAL DROP-IN SESSION, 3RD MAY

On Wednesday 3rd May at 7pm we will be holding an informal drop-in session at the Commissary Bar in Holborn Studios. (49/50 Eagle Wharf Road, N1 7ED). Please come along to this social occasion if you are interested in volunteering or in finding out what is happening this year, if you want to publicise any activities or if you simply want to meet other canal supporters.
