Subject: public meeting on Monday 19th September.
Dear Friends,
Please join us for a public meeting and social gathering at Holborn Studios on Monday evening. The meeting will start at 7pm. Please meet at the reception or at the Commissary Bar (N1 7ED). If you are interested in a short tour of the studios then please visit reception at 6:30pm.
The meeting will start with a presentation of redevelopment proposals for Regent's Wharf (near Caledonian Road). We will also hear news about recent celebrations including the East End Canal Festival, the bicentenary in Camden Town and the Angel Canal Festival. This should lead into a discussion on protection of our canal's heritage and ideas for celebrating the main bicentenary in August 2020.
On a different note we will get a chance to discuss recent mooring proposals and trials, looking at pros and cons of installing electricity points at visitor moorings, as well as hearing different views on mooring opportunities.
