Saturday 11th June, 12 noon to 4pm. Open day at Laburnum Boat Club. E2 8BH
Saturday 11th June, all day. Towpath gathering at Victoria Park. (Organised by the NBTA).
Wednesday 22nd June, 7pm. Next public meeting of Friends of Regent's Canal at London Canal Museum.
Sunday 26th June. 11am to 5pm. East End Canal Festival at Mile End Park.
Friday 12th August 2016. Bi-centenary of the opening of first phase of Regent's Canal. Ideas welcome.
LABURNUM OPEN DAY
This is an opportunity to find out what happens at this community boat club that has served Hackney for over 30 years.

TOWPATH GATHERING
This event will give you an insight into the activities of the National Bargee Travellers Association.

EAST END CANAL FESTIVAL
This event is being funded by a Heritage Lottery grant and is part of a Tower Hamlets project that we have been actively promoting. You will find out about the history of the canal and its users in this part of London. The Friends of Regent's Canal will be manning a stall.

NEXT FRIENDS MEETING
At our next meeting on 22nd June we will hear about the latest Water for Wildlife project that is being run by London Wildlife Trust at Camley Street. Please let me know if there are any other items that you would like to be added to the agenda.
BI-CENTENARY
No formals plans have been made yet but we have been approached by the Friends of Regent's Park to find out whether anybody is commemorating this milestone.
