"Spring" an Exhibition by Melissa Scott Miller

Exhibition of art works at the Go Figurative Gallery
92 Heath Street, NW3 1DP

Every now and then something catches your eye and living in London we are surrounded by many such eye catching moments, but it was for us at "Friend of Regent's Canal" that the canal side painting by Melissa Scott Miller really stuck out, encapsulating perfectly with her brush strokes the beauty and essence of the Regent's canal running through Islington, it's not hard to see how inspirational this part of the canal can be for artists and with the spring fauna exploding all around, Melissa Scott Miller's ability to capture this on canvas is perfect.

After studying at the "Slade School of Fine Art" Melissa has been exhibiting her work for the past 25 years, an award winning artist that has also been chosen to display at this year's BP Awards at the National Gallery.

As well as our particular favourite piece by the canal, the "Spring" exhibition currently on at the "Go Figurative Gallery" in Hampstead from the 1st May until the 20th May 2014, includes many typical and beautiful images we Londoners see all around us, and a trip to see all Melissa's exhibition is not to be missed.

We would like to thank Melissa Scott Miller, Sally and Alexandra for kindly providing us images and information.
