Blocking London's arteries
The Bangor Wharf site could serve as a gateway between a local industrial site and a 2000-mile canal network. This is why we are so disturbed by the proposal to block it off. Future generations will curse today's planners for encouraging short-term gains at the expense of the long-term survival of our water transport system.
