If you know the canals then this is a show not to be missed. If you are new to the London canal world then a stroll down this stretch of the Regents Canals at Mile End is a treat. And for a more substantial alcoholic drink there is the Palm Tree Pub within a 10 yard distance from the towpath with an area of grass to lounge on with and without shade.
To get there the closest tube is Mile End Station. Walk to the Regents Canal (2mins) and head north with University on your left. On reaching an overhead railway bridge you will see the Floating Market ahead. Alternatively buses 277 or 425 from bottom of Grove Road towards Hackney from Mile End Station that goes up Grove Road, dismount at 2nd or 3rd stop walk through Mile End by the Ecology Park
