Updates

14/06/2024 17:19

Both locks at Hampstead Rd Lock 1A and 1B are closed due to boat impact damage to top gate at Lock 1A which has rendered both locks inoperable.

Specialist team on site tomorrow to determine repair approach. We anticipate the closure will remain in place over the weekend due to the complexity of the repair required. We expect navigation to be open towards the start of next week and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

17/06/2024 08:38

A crane boat will be on site Tuesday afternoon to undertake the repair. We anticipate having navigation open by Tuesday evening. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

19/06/2024 14:05

We can confirm that this has been reopened and navigation is back open.
