Dear All,

Hope you are all well and keeping cool. It is time for our next evening event of the summer, full info below, hope to see some of you there. Please note we are heading up to the River Lea for this event rather than Limehouse, that stretch needs some TLC! Also we will be having food for all volunteers courtesy of the Milk Float Smoke House after the event.

Come and join us and Moo Canoes for a clean up on the River Lea and Hertford Union on Wednesday July 31st. You can take a canoe or kayak and clear up floating litter on the canal. If you don't fancy paddling come litter pick along the tow-path, there is always loads to clear up. The event will run from 6 pm until 8 pm. All litter picking tools and safety equipment will be provided, just wear suitable clothing for the weather including sturdy shoes (trainers fine, no open toes please!) We will meet at The Milk Float which is situated on the River Lea near the olympic park. The postcode is E9 5EN, it is just off White Post Lane. Nearest transport is Hackney Wick station or 339 bus goes very close by. No need to pre-book or respond, just turn up. And after you have picked some litter there will be food for all of you as our way of saying thank you.
