Hello, It is time for our Feb litter pick next Sunday, full info below. Also a shout out re our social media, see below.
Sunday February 25th:
With spring rapidly approaching this may the last chance to have a good go at some of the reed beds and other areas, birds will soon be nesting so come and join us and Moo Canoes for a clean up on the Regents Canal or the Limehouse Cut on Sunday 25th. You can take a canoe or kayak and clear up floating litter on the canal. The event will run from 11 am until 1 pm, don't worry about being a little late, turn up when you can. All safety equipment will be provided, just wear suitable clothing. If you don't fancy paddling, come and litter pick along the tow path. We will meet at Moo Headquarters which is under the DLR Bridge at Limehouse Basin E14 7JZ. Nearest transport is Limehouse DLR, Branch Road exit.
There is no need to respond re this event, just turn up, see some of you there.
Secondly, with all the plans we have for this year Molly and I need some help! Is there anyone out there who is a social media wizard? We need a keen volunteer to help with this aspect of what we do. Molly and I are super busy with the days jobs so some help would be most welcome. This may suit a younger person who is looking to build their CV, and is keen to help us move forward. Sadly we don't have a budget to pay for this, so someone who is happy to put in a few hours a week would be perfect.
