Towpath gathering at Victoria Park.

Towpath Gathering: A celebration of the canal community

Date: 11 June 2016

Place: Canal Gate, Victoria Park (north west corner of the Park near Broadway Market)

What do London's canals mean to you? A place to get away from the bustle of the city, the best part of your bike ride to work or just somewhere to feel closer to nature. For many people, the canals are their homes and you are invited to celebrate the diverse and, at times, eccentric community of boaters.

The annual Towpath Gathering is taking place by Victoria Park on the towpath (where else?) at the Canal Gate. There will be trade boats, including the floating community hall 'the Village Butty' and the record boat (for all your vinyl needs), arts & crafts, food, drinks, live music and more.

The event is totally FREE and open to all - be you a boat dweller or a landlubber! See you there!
