Holborn Studios Open Day
On Saturday 14th March (11am to 4pm) the Friends of Regent's Canal will join the professionals at Holborn Studios, along with other local organisations, at an open day on the Eagle Wharf premises. We will be manning a stall within the studio complex and will provide an opportunity for members of the public to meet people who are committed to sustaining a vibrant creative workforce alongside the canal.
The open day will feature...
A guided Studio Tour with a chance to see two or three live shoots (both stills and moving image).
Displays from the resident companies within the Holborn Studios Complex.
Presentations by photographers, film makers and historians.
Representatives from the Friends of Regents Canal, the Hackney Society, the Greater London Industrial Archaeology Society, the Canal & Rivers Trust, the London Ex-Boxers Association .
Free raffle to win a "Star for a Day" prize where leading professionals will style your hair, your makeup, your clothes and take a beautiful photograph of you. The prize will include collection and return to your home (London postal area) and a lunch for two.
A selection of classic and collectors cars from the Classic Car Club.
Enjoy for one day only a 20% discount on all drinks, snacks and meals for the Commissary bar & kitchen.
