Clean-up event on 27th August
Message from Lower Regents Coalition
Dear All,
Hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday weekend. So it is time to cool off and clear some litter, at the next event, see full info below.
Come and join us and Moo Canoes for a clean up on the Regents Canal on Weds 27th August. You can take a canoe or kayak and clear up floating litter on the Regents Canal or in Limehouse Basin. The event will run from 6pm until 8pm. All safety equipment will be provided, just wear suitable clothing. If you don't fancy paddling, come and litter pick along the tow path. We'll meet at Moo Headquarters which is under the DLR Bridge at Limehouse Basin E14 7JZ. Nearest transport is Limehouse DLR, Branch Road exit.
This event is slightly different in that it is being run in conjunction with the Canal & Rivers Trust, they are going to provide a barbeque after the litter picking, so do come along and help clean up the canal, then enjoy a bite to eat under the arches courtesy of the Trust. Also a big thanks in advance to Hovis who are supplying the buns, thanks.
This event may be quite busy, so anyone who really wants to get in a boat is welcome to turn up a little early, the boats will be ready from 5.30 pm.
Hope to see you there.
All the best
Molly + Dave
