Cancelled Canalival

There were fewer inflatable boats on 31st May 2014 compared with 1st June 2013.

This was because Canalival 2014 was cancelled earlier in the week and the police were brought in to provide an advisory service to any revellers who were unaware of the change of plan.

Boaters in Kingsland Basin took no chances. They blocked off the entrance to the basin to safeguard the swans.
