LONDON WATERWAY FORUM - SPRING 2014

We would like to invite you to our 'new format' Waterway forum - previously called 'User Group'.

The dates and times:

Wednesday 26th March at the London Canal Museum, 12-13 New Wharf Road, London, N1 9RT from 7 - 9pm

What we intend to cover at the forum.

1. We know that customers and partners need an overview of current operational and maintenance issues and so we will cover maintenance highlights and navigational issues briefly in the usual way.

2. As we are just about to publish our Strategic Plan for the London Waterways we will have Partnership members give a brief overview of selected projects which will be under way shortly. See website for plan contents http://canalrivertrust.org.uk/london-waterways-partnership.

3. So that we can stay in tune with your needs as customers and users of the waterway - please let us know if there are other specific topics you would like us to cover during the meeting by the 28th of February for consideration. This is your chance to influence the agenda so please take this opportunity.

Asking a question in advance?

We ask if you have any questions to email them in before the 28th February and we will either respond beforehand or it will be discussed at the actually meeting.

Places are limited, to reserve your place and for any questions in advance or topic suggestions please email: katy.gavan@canalrivertrust.org.uk.

We look forward to seeing you on the night or hearing from you in due course.

Kind Regards

Jon Guest
Waterway Manager London

Here is a formal question that was submitted on behalf of the Friends of Regent's Canal.

Dear Katy,

Here is a formal question that I am submitting in advance :-

"What measures are CRT employees and volunteers taking to promote and utilise the facilities at the Regent's Canal Information Centre in Camden Town?"

(Some background: there are leaflet racks for canal users and a community table is available for canal groups to hold meetings)

Regards,

Ian
