MEETING AT ISLINGTON TOWN HALL
COMMITTEE ROOM 4.
TUESDAY 2 JULY, 7-9 PM.

"Air Pollution - The Threat from Diesel Particulates"

On Tuesday 2 July, Islington Environment Forum will celebrate its re-launch with a meeting on the threat to health and wellbeing of Islington residents from particulate emissions (diesel fumes). The shift to diesel engines to improve fuel economy has had serious impacts on health, especially for people living close to main roads, and to those with asthma or breathing problems.

At this meeting, you will hear experts on the shape of air pollution in London and Islington, its impact on you and your family, and you will be able to discuss the Draft Islington Air Quality Strategy with its authors. Please see the attached agenda for a full list of speakers.

Please join us to hear what we can do in our search for a greener and healthier borough!

This invitation has been sent to you on behalf of the Islington Environment Forum.
