Camden's Canal Talk

15th April 2013 is the 200th anniversary of the authorisation of the Collateral Cut or the Regent's Park Arm. An Act of Parliament, extending the Regent's Canal 1230 yards down to Cumberland Basin received Royal Assent 15th April 1813. It is 40 years since the Civic Trust Award for the Towpath Walk to Camden and others and 40 years since Camden Lock opened. There are other commemorations too, not least a Blue Plaque to John Nash at 66 Great Russell St, 8th January 2013.
