The future of the Canal Information Centre in Camden. (The IWA played a big part in saving this, and will need to make use of it to prevent it from falling into neglect again).

Campaigning against obstructions on the waterways. (Example, narrowing of the water channel under Wharf Road Bridge, floating island projects, IKEA publicity stunt at City Road Lock. The IWA is becoming a voice of reason when CRT yields navigation space to other activities)

Saving Holborn Studios from demolition and displacement. (Do we need another Paddington Basin or is Shoreditch better suited to the creative industry?)

Reviving the Islington visitor moorings.

. (This could be a meeting place for boaters, somewhere to display, buy or exchange boat accessories, with visiting craftspeople. It does not need to be another clone cafe).
